As an avid hunter myself, I cherish every little detail along the way. When I was young an invitation from a family friend would be my introduction to the world of hunting the outdoors. The 80 acres of family land they owned felt like it had no boundaries and went on forever. What I noticed most of all was how everyone in the camp felt. All of us including the adults were absolutely happy. There was laughter and bonding. The stories that were told went on for days. There were feelings of accomplishment from those that harvested something and sadness from all the near misses. This is my first recollection of going out and getting lost. Along the way I found what is my purpose and passion in life.

My first hunting guide was honestly my best friends dad. He was patient, confident, encouraging and knowledgeable. The qualities that he instilled in me are qualities that I lean on within each hunt I am able to be involved with. I prioritize taking notice of everything that surrounds me. I can still recall the plume of dust that rose from the ground as my rifle harvested my first bull elk, while I lay in a prone position. The scent of the earth is forever etched in my memory. On a certain outing I was in Northern Quebec chasing bull moose. I found myself in the middle of nowhere surrounded by Canadien wolves. The idea for Burning Bush came to me right then and there. This peace and these unforgettable moments are the essence of Burning Bush Outdoor Services. I thrive on these experiences, and they fuel my passion for what I do.
